Cookie policy
Information about the cookies and similar technologies that may be used while browsing this website.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files or pieces of information that a website can store on a user's device.
Among other purposes, they can be used to enable technical functions, remember preferences, gather statistics or show personalised advertising.
Similar technologies also exist, such as browser local storage, pixels, identifiers and other mechanisms capable of storing or retrieving information.
2. Website controller
- Controller: [NAME OR COMPANY NAME]
- Trade name: AE Property Management & Consult
- Tax ID (NIF/CIF): [TO BE COMPLETED]
- Address: [TO BE COMPLETED]
- Email: info@aeproperties.com
3. Current status of this website
The current code for the site has been developed with custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
In its initial configuration:
- the mobile menu does not need to store cookies;
- the carousel does not need to store cookies;
- the language switcher works through normal links;
- the form is not yet connected to an external provider;
- no analytics tool has been installed;
- no advertising pixels have been integrated;
- no external maps have been embedded;
- no embedded videos have been added; and
- no local storage is used to track user activity.
Therefore, the current code is not designed to install non-necessary cookies.
4. Verification after deployment
The hosting provider, content delivery network, form system, security tools or other services added during deployment could add cookies or similar technologies.
Before publishing the website, an actual check must be carried out from the browser to identify:
- the name of each cookie;
- the provider that sets it;
- its purpose;
- its duration;
- whether it is first-party or third-party;
- whether it is strictly necessary; and
- whether it requires consent.
5. Types of cookies by purpose
Technical or necessary cookies
These enable the basic operation of the site, security, session management or the provision of a feature expressly requested.
Preference cookies
These allow certain choices to be remembered, such as language, layout or selected settings.
Analytics cookies
These allow measurement and analysis of how the website is used, which pages are visited, the device used or interaction with the content.
Advertising cookies
These allow advertising space to be managed or ads to be tailored to certain criteria.
Behavioural advertising cookies
These allow browsing profiles to be created or personalised advertising to be shown based on observed habits.
6. Types of cookies by who manages them
First-party cookies
These are managed from a domain or system controlled by the website owner.
Third-party cookies
These are managed by a different entity, such as an analytics, advertising, maps, video, messaging or social media provider.
7. Types of cookies by duration
Session cookies
These are used during a browsing session and normally disappear when the browser is closed.
Persistent cookies
These remain stored for a period defined by their controller or until the user deletes them.
8. Cookies currently declared
At the current stage of development, no non-essential first-party cookies installed by the website's code have been identified.
9. Exempt technical cookies
Certain cookies or storage mechanisms may be used without requesting consent when they are strictly necessary to:
- transmit a communication over a network;
- provide a service expressly requested;
- maintain security;
- balance technical load; or
- enable essential functions.
Their use must be limited to the necessary purpose and may not be used for additional, incompatible purposes.
10. Consent
If non-exempt cookies or technologies are added in the future, they must not be activated before the user has received clear information and has taken a valid consent action.
The system must allow:
- accepting all non-necessary cookies;
- rejecting them;
- configuring them by category; and
- later withdrawing consent.
Rejecting non-necessary cookies must not be more difficult than accepting them.
11. Provisional absence of a banner
The current version does not include a consent banner because analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies have not been deliberately added.
This decision is only valid while the technical check confirms that the site exclusively uses exempt mechanisms or uses no cookies at all.
The later addition of analytics, maps, videos, chat, social media, advertising or tracking tools will require this decision to be reviewed.
12. Links to external services
The website may contain links to external services, such as WhatsApp.
A regular link does not necessarily mean that such a service installs cookies on this website before being visited.
By clicking the link, the user will access the external platform, which may use its own cookies in accordance with its own terms.
13. How to manage cookies from your browser
Browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies from their privacy and security settings.
The exact location of these options depends on the browser and its version.
They are generally found in sections named:
- Privacy and security;
- Cookies and site data;
- Content settings;
- Tracking protection; or
- History and browsing data.
14. Consequences of blocking cookies
Blocking non-necessary cookies should not prevent access to the main content of this website.
However, blocking technical cookies or strictly necessary mechanisms could affect the operation of certain features if these are added in the future.
15. Changes to this policy
This policy may be amended when:
- a tool is added or removed;
- the hosting provider changes;
- the form is connected;
- analytics are added;
- external content is integrated;
- the cookies used change; or
- regulatory or interpretative changes occur.
